The home’s setting provides our guests with a feeling of woodland seclusion.

There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. One on each floor for privacy. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed and the master bath has a Jacuzzi tub and separate shower with a wonderful view of the lake. The main floor bedroom has a queen sized log bed and matching dressers. The third bedroom has two full sized beds and a view of the lake also. All bed linens are included.  Washer and dryer are available.

The main floor has a cozy living room with a gas fire place, a complete kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker and a lunch counter. Just off the kitchen is a rustic dining room complete with a long pine table and benches. All with a great view of the lake.

The screen porch has a gas grill and table and chairs. It is so relaxing in the evenings enjoying the beauty of the lake with the lighted stars in the ceiling overhead. There is no better way to beat the stress and soothe the soul.

Excellent Year-Round Recreation

In the winter you can pull right up and park your sled under the deck after riding any one of the three trails (Trails #3, 5& 21) that intersect just down the lake. The lake is also a great place to get in shape for the world renowned Birkie cross country skiing event which happens in February. There is also great ice fishing on the lake.

Fishing is great in this 1700 acre class A musky lake. We have caught many walleye limits off the end of our dock over the years. Besides musky and walleye there are smallmouth bass, crappie, and panfish in the Moose.

Moose Lake View is located on a private road in the middle of the National Forest where there are hundreds of miles of trails for hiking, biking, hunting and 4-wheeling. If you are very lucky you just might see a few elk that were re-introduced a few years ago just five miles away.
